Comprehensive dental care from biological dentist near Brevard NC

What does a biological dentist do?
Like traditional dentists, a biological dentist focuses on promoting oral health through proper oral hygiene and disease prevention. They diagnose oral diseases, evaluate x-rays and other diagnostic tests, create treatment plans to improve and maintain oral health, and monitor the development of the teeth and jaw. In addition to these traditional dental responsibilities, biological dentists also:- Help patients make healthcare decisions that improve their oral health and their overall wellness
- Use only metal-free, biocompatible materials in the mouth
- Avoid the use of amalgam fillings and safely remove them when appropriate
- Concentrate on the connection between the health of the mouth and the body
- Focus on prevention and patient education to improve oral health
Dr. Virtue and his team provide a wide range of comprehensive, biological services. Some of them include:
Family Dentistry – We welcome patients of all ages at Virtue Dental Care. We provide both pediatric and adult biological dental services under one roof.
Cosmetic Dentistry – We understand that the appearance of the smile is often just as important as the health of the smile. Many cosmetic dental treatments not only improve the aesthetics of the smile but can also improve oral health. Some of the cosmetic services we provide are veneers, dental crowns, composite resin fillings, teeth whitening, and more.
Dental Implants – It's crucial to restore gaps in the smile in order to avoid more complicated dental problems down the road. Dental implants are a natural-looking, strong, and biocompatible solution to missing teeth.
General Dentistry – We provide all the necessary services including exams and cleanings, x-rays, and basic restorations in order to help patients maintain a healthy, beautiful smile.
