Rating: 5 Dermatologist Walnut Creek - Five Star Reviews By James W.
Dr. William E. Virtue DDS, FIAOMT, NMD
I have been going to Dr. Virtue's dental office for many years after going to many other dentists in the area with no sucess. This practice is the TOTAL EXPERIENCE! From the time in walk in until you walk out you feel that not only are you in the best hands but that you are among experienced, caring friends. Not only do they care about their patients but about each other and it is apparent from the first visit. If you are looking for a dentist I strongly recommend Virtue Dental Care in Yadkinville. It is worth trying. Bet you can't just go one time!

Six Month Braces can give Adults in Piedmont, NC a reason to smile
Problems with teeth that aren’t straight go much deeper than the aesthetics of their smiles. Even the mildest problems with alignment like slightly crooked or overcrowded teeth can lead to patients feeling embarrassed to smile. Crooked teeth are also difficult to clean properly, leaving patients more susceptible to tooth decay or gum disease. For adults with alignment issues they may not feel the need or have the desire to undergo several years of orthodontic treatment for what they perceive as simply cosmetic issues. Now, adults with mild to moderate alignment issues can turn to Six Month Braces to straighten their teeth quickly and discreetly.

Six Month Braces differ from traditional or conventional orthodontic options to straighten teeth. The biggest thing that sets Six Month Braces apart is the time commitment to treatment. With Six Month Braces, treatment is typically complete within four to nine months. With traditional methods, patients often spend upwards of two to three years in braces.

Similar to traditional braces, Six Month Braces utilizes a system of wires and brackets to straighten teeth. The brackets are clear and bonded to the front of the teeth and the wires are tooth colored. Six Month Braces are much less visible than other methods. Six Month Braces can fix a number of orthodontic issues including:
  • Overcrowding
  • Widely spaced teeth
  • Overlapping teeth
  • Teeth in the wrong place

Six Month Braces does not treat issues with the bite or complex orthodontic issues. An exam from Dr. Virtue and his team can determine if you are a candidate for Six Month Braces.

To begin treatment with Six Month Braces, impressions will be taken of both the top and bottom arch of teeth. These impressions are sent to a lab where they will make a map of the tooth movement and determine the appropriate placement of the brackets. Once the brackets are placed on your teeth, you will need to follow-up with office visits every four weeks for progress checks and for any necessary adjustments. At Virtue Dental Care, we want to help you achieve a beautiful and healthy smile today.
