Dr. William Virtue trained in dentistry at Indiana University. He opened his office in Yadkinville, NC, in 1979. His believes dentistry is not only about helping you maintain the best dental health, but about encouraging your overall health, which is why he practices mercury-free, biocompatible dentistry according to the highest standards of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology.

He also believes that coming to his office should be a pleasant experience, which is why he and his staff provide amenities such as eye pillows, relaxation tapes, massage cushions, and more. Dr. Virtue's supporting office staff has been carefully hand picked, and each person is a valued member of a team whose primary goal is to provide you with the most advanced dental care in a pleasing environment.

Dr. Virtue is continually educating himself in the latest dental therapies and techniques. He has accumulated more than 2000 hours of continuing education through dental courses to enhance his philosophy of providing patients with the best, most progressive methods for saving and restoring their teeth and health.

Dr. Virtue is also committed to serving both the local community and his professional community. He is an active member in the Yadkinville Sertoma Club and the Academy of General Dentistry. He served as president of the Forum for Contemporary Dental Esthetics and is certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. In addition, he has completed Level 6 advanced dental training at the Pankey Institute and is an active member of its alumni association.
