"Tips in Pediatric Dentistry"
On November 8th 2005, Daphne and Twinkle, our hygienists, attended a course entitled "Tips in Pediatric Dentistry" at the Elkin Public Library in Elkin, NC. The speakers were Regina Hunter and Dr. Amy Cummings from Dr. Tina Merhoff's office in Winston-Salem, NC. Key points discussed were the reduction of administered fluoride and also sealant placement in pedodontic offices.Dr. Hal Huggins
Our office became Huggins Alliance Members in October 2005 after Dr. Virtue, Julia and Terry traveled to Colorado Springs, CO to attend three days with Dr. Hal Huggins. Here they learned his sequential technique of amalgam removal, use of the Rita meter, nutritional support including Vitamin C and the benefits of the Huggins recovery program. Ask us about the latest in oral Vitamin C that is very gentle to the stomach and almost 100% absorbed.Cerac
In April 2005 our practice decided to again incorporate the latest technology in dentistry. The Cerac cad-cam system of making crowns, onlays and inlays in one visit has been accepted and appreciated by our patients. That means we prepare the tooth and deliver the crown in one appointment, no temporary, no second visit, no sensitivity and no second numbing. Dr. Virtue with his trusted and "old assistants" traveled to Greenville, SC for two days of training on the operation of the computer and milling machine. In September 2005 Dr. Virtue traveled to Detroit, MI to attend two days of advanced training in the Cerac systems. |
