Rating: 5 Dermatologist Walnut Creek - Five Star Reviews By James W.
Dr. William E. Virtue DDS, FIAOMT, NMD
I have been going to Dr. Virtue's dental office for many years after going to many other dentists in the area with no sucess. This practice is the TOTAL EXPERIENCE! From the time in walk in until you walk out you feel that not only are you in the best hands but that you are among experienced, caring friends. Not only do they care about their patients but about each other and it is apparent from the first visit. If you are looking for a dentist I strongly recommend Virtue Dental Care in Yadkinville. It is worth trying. Bet you can't just go one time!

What is the process of receiving CEREC crowns through a Yadkinville dental practice?
Dental crowns are important for general dentistry and aesthetic improvements to the smile. These porcelain restorations are made to match the existing teeth so they blend in with the smile after being bonded in place. Not only do they cover imperfections, but they also protect the natural teeth from harm. They are bonded over teeth that are broken, chipped, or otherwise weakened to provide more strength and keep them from experiencing further breakage.

At Virtue Dental Care, we use dental crowns in many situations, and are happy to offer our patients an alternative to lab-created crowns. We provide patients with CEREC crowns. CEREC crowns are similar to traditional crowns except they are made in-house while patients wait.

The traditional process of receiving a dental crown required patients to have impressions made of their teeth, which were sent to a laboratory that could be states away. In the meantime, the dentist had a temporary crown placed over the tooth until the finished crown came in from the lab. This process could take weeks. The patient would have to schedule another appointment to come back to the dental office and have the new crown bonded in place. If there are problems with the crown, the process must be done over again. This takes a lot of time and energy, and does not work well with a busy patient’s schedule.

Instead, with CEREC crowns, patients can enjoy crowns in a day. Impressions are taken, and these impressions are used to mill a crown (or other restoration) from a block of porcelain with a specialized CAD/CAM machine. In as little as fifteen minutes, the dentist is ready to bond the crown in place. Instead of dealing with temporary crowns and weeks of waiting, patients are able to enjoy the creation of their restoration while they wait.

Dr. Virtue of Virtue Dental Care is happy to provide this service to his patients. He enjoys saving his patients time and money while providing them with quality restorations to improve their smiles. If you live in the Yadkinville area and you are considering a new general and cosmetic dentist, contact Virtue Dental Care today to schedule your initial consultation appointment and examination to take the first steps in building a trusting relationship with a quality dentist who puts your health and wellbeing first.
