Rating: 5 Dermatologist Walnut Creek - Five Star Reviews By James W.
Dr. William E. Virtue DDS, FIAOMT, NMD
I have been going to Dr. Virtue's dental office for many years after going to many other dentists in the area with no sucess. This practice is the TOTAL EXPERIENCE! From the time in walk in until you walk out you feel that not only are you in the best hands but that you are among experienced, caring friends. Not only do they care about their patients but about each other and it is apparent from the first visit. If you are looking for a dentist I strongly recommend Virtue Dental Care in Yadkinville. It is worth trying. Bet you can't just go one time!

Yadkinville patients ask, “Who is a biological dentist in the area?”
If you are looking for a Biological Dentist in the Yadkinville area, look no further than Dr. Virtue and his team at Virtue Dental Care. For over 15 years, Dr. Virtue has dedicated his dental practice to focus on the entire wellbeing of his patients and his staff.

What exactly is a biological dentist?

Dentists who practice biological dentistry focus on whole body health and the quality of life of their patients. They take traditional dentistry a step further by adding a holistic approach.

Philosophy of biological dentists:

Focus on the materials

A large portion of dentistry involves the use of materials to complete restorations and treatments. From common fillings to dental implants, patients are exposed to foreign materials in their mouth. Biological dentists focus on how they can make this process as safe as possible and that starts with the materials utilized. At Virtue Dental Care, we use only biocompatible materials that are safe for use in the body. Knowing the risks of materials such as amalgam, we have opted to be a mercury-free practice. Patients can trust that their fillings and other dental procedures will be done with holistic materials that will not have adverse systemic effects on overall wellness.

Promote education

We find that many patients simply don’t know how to take care of their teeth and gums properly. Sure, they may brush twice a day, but with little attention paid to how they are brushing. As a result, many patients experience frequent cavities, which can often be prevented.

We take the time to educate our patients on the importance of oral hygiene and its role in preventing dental problems. Look beyond the symptoms

Another key component of biological dentists is to look beyond the symptoms presented. We don’t just treat the mouth; we treat patients. We always take the time to understand medical and family history to help gain a full picture of the patient as a whole. This allows us to better treat the dental issues and address potential health conditions or issues outside of the mouth.
